Job summary

Registered Nurse - RN - Emergency Department (ED) – Full-time - Nights at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, delivering urgent care in a fast-paced ED and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes.

This role requires a BSN, NYS RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year in acute care; night shifts 7:30 PM–8:00 AM, weekends and holidays rotating; strong communication and service orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current New York State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in the Emergency Department and rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
• Provide care during Night Flex shifts (7:30 PM–8:00 AM) at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital with weekends and holidays rotating.
• Contribute to a compassionate culture and high-quality patient experience.

This is a full-time night shift (7:30PM-8AM) located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, rotating weekends and alternating holidays.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
