Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team. The RN will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with physicians and staff to develop and execute individualized care plans.

Requirements include ADN with BSN preferred, Virginia RN license, BLS within 90 days, ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year, and at least 2 years of hospital nursing experience, ED preferred.

SHIFT:

Full time-Days, 36 hours per week -7a to 7p

Unit Description:

• Board-certified emergency physicians
• Emergency nurses certified in advanced cardiac life support, trauma and pediatric certifications
• Pediatric-trained team to treat children of all ages
• Overnight observation rooms for children and a separate family-friendly waiting area
• Seamless connection to easily accessible radiology department
• Landing pad for Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance to ensure quicker treatment in emergency situations

Education:

Compensation:

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
