Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department in Wedowee, Alabama. This is a day shift ED position with PRN status and involves supervising other RNs, LPNs, and Nurse Techs while delivering direct patient care.

The RN will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes in accordance with the state nurse practice act. Licensure, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required or must be obtained within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Six months of related nursing experience required.
• ALABAMA REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within one year; BLS within 30 days.

NOTE: PALS within one year of hire in PACU
