Position Specifics: RN – Emergency Room (Full Time, Day Shift)

Department: Emergency Room

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours per week | Nightshift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; Weekend rotation

Facility: Good Shepherd Hospital

Location: Shelbyville, IL

Sign on Bonus: $10,000 sign on bonus for 2 years

Compensation: Based on experience, plus shift differentials for night and weekend shifts

Summary:

Good Shepherd Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team. As a vital member of the ER, you will respond to urgent and emergent patient needs in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This role is ideal for mission-driven caregivers who thrive under pressure and are passionate about providing immediate, life-saving care

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
• Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.

$30.00 - $46.30

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
