DGADA Staffing Group is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on per diem shifts at ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, OH. You will manage emergency triage, deliver critical interventions, monitor patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma care teams.

Active Ohio RN license and at least 1 year of ED/ER experience are required, along with current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED/ER)

Job Description

DGADA Staffing Group is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department for per diem shifts at ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, OH. In this high-volume acute care setting, you will manage emergency triage, deliver critical interventions, perform continuous cardiac and neurological monitoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma care teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid emergency assessment, triage, and critical nursing interventions.
• Administer emergency medications, IV lines, blood products, and advanced cardiac life support protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status.
• Complete clinical documentation and patient charting in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, trauma surgeons, and specialized care teams.

Requirements

• Active License: Unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience within the last 5 years (ED/ER experience required).
• Certifications:
  • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Provider
  • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Provider
  • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Provider
  • Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Pre-Placement Clearances:
  • Background Check (Checkr + FACIS III)
  • 10-Panel Standard Drug Screen (within 12 months)
  • Annual TB Screening (IGRA blood test or 1-step/2-step PPD)
  • Proof of immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B, Annual Flu shot)
  • N95 Mask Fit test appointment
