Job summary

Registered Nurse (RN) – Davie Emergency Dept. at Davie Medical Center ED in Bermuda Run, NC, seeks an experienced nurse to provide patient-centered care in a 23-bed ED. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, rapid assessment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must have an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. ED experience is preferred; a sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Two years ED experience preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Davie Emergency Dept. Bermuda Run, NC, United States

A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

Where You Will Work

Davie Medical Center ED is a 23-bed community hospital emergency department providing comprehensive patient care to a variety of illnesses and injuries. DMC ED is equipped to perform diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT, US and MRI as well as laboratory studies. The emergency department receives patients from the local county EMS as well as surrounding counties 24/7. Patients requiring critical care or surgical intervention are stabilized at Davie then transferred to a tertiary care center.

Expectations We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing


• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices


• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association


• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire


• 2 years of ED experience preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.


• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
