Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the eHospital Department on the night shift (7p–7a). The RN will monitor telemetry rhythms, provide feedback to the team, and deliver care using the nursing process in a busy telemetry unit.

Required are RN licensure, nursing degree or diploma, BLS within 90 days, and 3 years of nursing experience with ICU preferred. A sign-on bonus may be available for qualified candidates.

City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a RN (Registered Nurse) in our eHospital Department. Up to $20,000 Sign On Bonus to qualified candidate successfully hired! Hours/Shift: 36 (hours per week)/Nights 7p-7a Overview: The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Position Overview: In this role you will be working in-house in the telemetry monitoring room monitoring telemetry rhythms, providing feedback and guidance, and working with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate plans of care. Education

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Registered nursing License (Required)

Experience

• 3 years’ nursing experience required. Preference is a candidate with ICU experience

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly.
