Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team in Duluth, Minnesota, on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior! We are currently hiring for our Med/Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health - Duluth.

Essentia Health - Duluth consists of the following floors:

• Observation Unit
• Inpatient Rehab
• Adolescent Behavioral Health
• Adult Behavioral Health
• Med/Surg

This float pool primarily covers Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors, as there is a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool.

• You will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• You will contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, complying with the requirements of the Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Experience: 1 year of acute RN experience required; Critical Care experience preferred. PALS or ACLS preferred.

Note: External candidate RNs are eligible for a recruitment bonus of $10,000 for ADNs and $15,000 for BSNs.
