Registered Nurse Educator
Department: Intensive Care Unit - The Intensive Care Unit at Chelsea is a six bed adult unit caring for patients that are critically ill medical-surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring, invasive/non-invasive ventilation, and drips.
Location: Chelsea, MI
Pay: $38.77-52.32 per hour based upon licensed nursing experience
Nursing Educators facilitate staff competency in providing Relationship-Based Care by using adult learning principles, demonstrating interest in and respect for learners, and creating an environment of safety for both patients and colleagues. Nursing Educators work in collaboration with the Education Department and other departments to assess, plan, develop, implement/coordinate and evaluate the learning process and skill acquisition of colleagues, students and instructors of affiliating schools. Collaborative functions include the orientation process, preceptor development and programming, continuing education, staff development, mandatory education, and new product/new process education.
