Job summary

Avir at Colonel is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a double weekend shift to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities. We foster a team-oriented culture that supports growth and welcomes new graduates to join our family.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RN License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• I.V. Certification Preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs and other staff members.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the healthcare team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records.
