Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and providing patient care, interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required). Dialysis Nurses oversee dialysis treatments for patients with acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

• RN License in the state of application
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification is preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment. Assistance available to obtain ACLS!
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU roles.
• Nephrology Nursing Certification (NNCC) is preferred but not required.
