Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the Dialysis RN is responsible for delivering, directing, and supervising patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources. May perform other duties, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS certification required).

Dialysis Nurses oversee treatments for patients with kidney failure as ordered by physicians.

• RN License in the state of application
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred initially, required after 90 days; we can help you obtain it
• ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU
• Nephrology Nursing Certification (NNCC) preferred but not required
