Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating shift, PRN assignment in the Dialysis Hemo Unit in Pocatello, ID. The RN will provide care using the nursing process, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Idaho RN license, and BLS/ACLS requirements as outlined. Prior dialysis experience is preferred; two years of acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols. The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions. The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire and maintain as current.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years acute care
• Previous dialysis experience
