Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Modesto, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Dialysis department. The role includes planning and delivering individualized patient care, and performing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis with proper nursing protocol.

The position requires 1+ year of critical care experience, an active California RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification; CNN is preferred. Call duties and variable 10-hour shifts apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year ICU/critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and apheresis procedures.
• Set up, operate and disinfect dialysis equipment; respond to emergencies as they arise.

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. The RN carries out the tasks of hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis procedure. Provides necessary nursing care and recognizes and responds to emergency needs of the patient receiving dialysis/apheresis therapy, performs the tasks of set-up, operation and disinfection of dialysis/aphaeresis equipment.

Minimum Experience/Skills:

• 1 + years critical Care experience ,

License/Certificates/Credentials:

• Current California Registered Nursing license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CNN preferred
