Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a day shift, full-time Dialysis Registered Nurse to join BSA Hospital.

The RN will plan, organize, implement, and evaluate care for patients from pediatric to geriatric, coordinating with families and the care team, and supervising other team members as needed.

Required are a Texas RN license, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS within 14 days of hire; dialysis experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care for patients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric.
• Coordinate, delegate, and provide direct nursing care with patients, families, and the care team.
• Provide supervision for patient care team members according to training level and patient acuity.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Dialysis Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating patient care of patients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric.
• The RN coordinates, delegates, and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members, and all patient care team members.
• The RN provides supervision for patient team members in accordance with their level of training and the patient’s acuity.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current License to practice as a registered nurse in Texas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Previous experience providing nursing care to patients on acute dialysis.
