Registered Nurse (RN) - Diagnostic Imaging, Part-Time, Day Shift

Join us at Island Health as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Diagnostic Imaging for a part-time day shift position.

Position Details
  • FTE 0.75 / 30 hours per week
  • Day shift
Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $36.90 - $69.95/hour

  • BSN (or higher) premium: $1.00/hour
  • Certification premium: $1.00/hour
  • Night Differential: $4.75
  • Evening Differential: $3.25
  • Weekend Differential: $4.00

Job Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to coordinate and implement diagnostic and therapeutic orders.
  • Identify emergent situations and triage patients accordingly.
  • Operate necessary equipment and administer medications safely.
  • Perform IV insertions, PICC line insertions, and monitor patient responses.
  • Manage contrast reactions and monitor patients in MRI with pacemakers.
  • Complete thorough documentation of patient care.
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN encouraged
  • Current Washington State RN License
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting; experience in ambulatory surgery and IV sedation preferred
  • Experience in PICC line placement preferred
