Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND seeks a Registered Nurse for the Dermatology Clinic. The Phone Nurse handles provider calls, follows up with patients, and documents in EMR while coordinating lab work and referrals. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay range dependent on level.

The Phone Nurse follows up with clients, making recommendations and assisting with the clients needs. Position will be located at Truyu Aesthetic Center. Identifies unmet customer needs and recommends improvements or enhancements to meet those needs.* Documents health-related intervention, recommendations, authorized medication refills and the instructions necessary for all calls and completes all documentation in EMR.* Assures lab work, tests, and procedures are scheduled appropriately.* Completes patient referral forms and pre-authorization process as needed.* Notifies Manager of any potential problems in regard to patient complaints, unsatisfactory outcomes, special needs or request.
