Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (or higher)
• State RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• 1+ years RN experience in detox or similar facility environment
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and JCAHO Behavioral Health standards

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through detox per physician orders
• Educate patients about their condition and assist with accurate clinical reporting
• Perform intake and discharge nursing assessments
• Administer prescribed medications and make independent decisions within scope of practice
• Monitor and record patient care through the Electronic Health System
• Follow Universal Infections Control Precautions and maintain logs of controlled substance distribution

Responsibilities:

• Guide patients through their detox process per the physician's orders
• Educate patients about their condition and assist the physician and ARNP with accurate clinical reporting
• Perform nursing assessments at intake and discharge nursing actions
• Administer prescribed medications and make independent decisions within your scope of practice
• Monitor and record patient care through our Electronic Health System
• Follow Universal Infections Control Precautions and maintain accurate logs of controlled substance distribution

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in nursing or higher
• 1+ years of experience as a RN in a detox or similar treatment facility environment (strongly preferred)
• State RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certificationPsychiatric nursing experience required
• Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of withdrawal pain and critically dangerous medical emergencies
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with ASAM criteria and JCAHO Standards of Care for Behavioral Health

Additional Requirements:

• Electronic Health Record experience
• Ability to respond physically and calmly during emergency situations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
