Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Pryor, OK is seeking a Day Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) for day shift, PRN, to support ambulatory procedures and post-operative care. You will collaborate with physicians, surgical teams and perioperative staff to promote safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Requirements include ADN or BSN, Oklahoma or multi-state RN license, 1 year of ambulatory healthcare experience, BLS within 14 days of hire, ACLS and PALS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Oklahoma or multi-state accepted at hire.
• 1 year ambulatory healthcare experience.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire or transfer to role; ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days.
• ADN or BSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support mission of the hospital by delivering nursing care to ambulatory patients.
• Care for all patients and coordinate healthcare services across departments.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and staff from other departments.

• Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including ENT, emergency services, general surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, outpatient infusions, radiology, women's services, wound care, 3D mammo and more.

Position has the responsibility of supporting mission of the hospital; demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process; care to all patients, coordinating healthcare services that reflect philosophy and standards of ambulatory health and nursing care of assigned patients’; promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments; initiates healthcare training and education to the patient and/or patient’s significant other to facilitate recovery.

Job Requirements:

• ADN or BSN
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
• 1 year experience in ambulatory healthcare setting
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
• PALS (within 90 days of hire)
