Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Community RN to join our Care Pathway. The role spans four levels based on RN experience, with 36-hour weeks on day shift, and weekend/holiday coverage at our Main Campus.
The RN provides direct nursing care to patients and families in accordance with physician orders, with a focus on assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s plan of care. Massachusetts RN licensure and BLS are required.
The Community RN Career Direct Care Pathway placement is comprised of four levels based on a RN’s minimum experience, education, and qualifications. Level I - 0 - Less than 12 Months of RN Experience. Level II - 12 Months - Less than 3 Years of RN Experience. Level III - 3 Years - Less than 8 Years of RN Experience. Level IV - 8 Years of RN Experience. Location: D3, Intermediate Care- Main Campus Hours: 36 Hours, Day Shift- weekend/holidays required
This role focuses on providing professional and nonprofessional nursing care services in accordance with physician orders. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Clinical Nurse duties: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care needs of a designated group of patients or provides nursing care and identified clinical support tasks within the scope of practice for achievement of the patient’s plan of care as directed. Provides professional nursing care to patients. Requires a nursing license. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education.
The RN independently provides direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.

Pay Range: $37.50 - $68.47 based on full-time equivalent
