Job summary

Advocate Health’s Cardiovascular ICU at Pineville seeks a skilled RN to provide and coordinate care for post‑operative CABG patients and advanced heart failure cases. You’ll work in a 16‑bed CVICU, delivering safe, therapeutic nursing care across the care continuum.

This full‑time, 36‑hour week includes 12‑hour night shifts, holiday and weekend rotations, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package. You’ll join an ANCC Pathways to Excellence organization dedicated to nursing excellence and

• RN licensure is required
• Experience in CVICU or critical care is preferred

Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) – 16 Beds

Post‑operative CABG’s and valves, advanced heart failure including Swan‑Ganz catheters, Impella, IABP, extended therapy dialysis with Tablo, STEMI, EKOS, Post Inari, ECMO cannulation.

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
