ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections for an 8-week contract in the Columbia, SC metro area. Start ASAP. Nights, 6a–7p, 37.5 hours/week, three days with every other weekend; no block scheduling.

Requirements: SC RN license, 1 year of direct patient care, BLS, Med-Surg exp for Gilliam/Kirkland Infirmary, ability to float across facilities. Pay $44.25/hour gross; benefits include 401(k), life/disability, daily pay, referral program.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered South Carolina RN license
• Minimum of one year of paid RN work experience within the past year providing direct patient care in a similar setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Med-Surg experience is required for RN assignments at Gilliam/Kirkland Infirmary
• Must be available to work 37.5 hours per week, three days per week
• Every other weekend is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Must float to any correctional facility within the Columbia metro area as assigned

Position Summary:

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact contract opportunity serves correctional facilities throughout the Columbia, SC metro area.

Candidates must be willing and able to float to any assigned facility within the Columbia metro area based on staffing and operational needs. This position is not assigned to one specific facility, and flexibility to work at multiple locations throughout the area is required.

Job Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
• Minimum of one year of paid RN work experience within the past year providing direct patient care in a similar setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Med-Surg experience is required for RN assignments at Gilliam/Kirkland Infirmary
• Must be available to work 37.5 hours per week, three days per week
• Every other weekend is required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Must be willing and able to float to any correctional facility within the Columbia metro area as assigned based on staffing needs
• Reliable transportation and the ability to report to different facilities throughout the Columbia metro area as scheduled

Other Required Documentation:

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
• Two current clinical references
• Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
• Must pass background check and drug screening
