Position Overview

UC Health is hiring a Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. This 30-bed unit specializes in Phase 1 recovery for general anesthesia cases, including neuro, ENT, trauma, Cath Lab/EP, IR, and ICU-level patients. The focus is on airway, breathing, hemodynamic stability, and pain management.

Responsibilities

The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Key duties include patient assessment, administering treatments and medications, ensuring safety, and providing education and support to patients and families.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum Associate Degree; BScN preferred
  • Current Ohio RN License
  • BLS/ACLS certifications
