UC Health is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) for the Integrated Medicine 8 South unit for the Night Shift Weekends Only (WOW) at UC Medical Center.
The Integrated Medicine Nurse will support the Medical Centers medicine and Level 1 Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. This 16 bed unit has ratios ranging from 4 to 6 patients per nurse. This nurse will help manage liver patients (pre and post-transplant), cystic fibrosis patients, many off-service patients and some behavioral health components with medical needs.

Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse (CN I) is an individual who holds a current state license to practice nursing. The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals. The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The care is culturally based and age-specific.
