RWJBarnabas Health in Jersey City is seeking a Clinic RN for a full-time day shift in a busy ambulatory care setting. The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

You will document in EPIC EMR and coordinate follow-up visits while pursuing ongoing education. The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, and a BSN degree or current enrollment in a BSN program.

Typical Day

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognizing subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patient.
• Providing care in a multi-specialty care clinic
• Providing safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care grounded in strong clinical judgment
• Serving as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers, offering insight that supports timely, well-coordinated care decisions
• Providing clear, compassionate education to patients and families so they feel informed, supported, and prepared for the next phase of care
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record to promote continuity and patient safety
• Providing case coordination for your patients which may include assistance with follow-up appointments and prior authorization

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing is required or actively enrolled in a BSN program with an expected completion date. Broad medical/surgical experience preferred and experience and knowledge of Ambulatory Care preferred. Comfortable with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.
