Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX, seeks a registered nurse for a day shift, PRN float pool assignment at the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic. The Float RN will support multiple units as staffing needs arise and provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements include a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current RN license, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire; a high school diploma or GED is also required. Previous acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Float RN will go to units that are in staffing needs to support patient care.
• Accountable for health status and health needs of patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.

The Float RN will go to units that are in staffing needs. Accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

Qualifications
