Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our day shift, PRN Float Pool at the Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic. The position requires adaptability to multiple units and a commitment to high quality patient care.

As part of a faith-based community, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain current RN licensure, and complete BLS within 14 days of hire. Previous acute care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.

Responsibilities

• Float RN will go to units that are in staffing needs and provide patient care.
• Accountable for the health status and health needs of patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The Float RN will go to units that are in staffing needs. Accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
