Job summary

Methodist Hospital Hill Country is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab PRN to join our team in Fredericksburg, Texas. The role requires cath lab experience and the ability to take call, delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in the nursing process, collaborate with the patient care team, and support leadership and education initiatives while adhering to hospital standards and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or bachelor's degree RN program.
• Minimum of six months of clinical RN experience.
• Current Texas RN license (or Multi-State Compact with timely Texas licensure).
• ACLS within 90 days; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Consistently apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication within the unit.
• Serve as a resource to the patient care team and promote nursing excellence.

What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
