Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab – Part-Time
Progressive Cardiac Cath Lab department is looking for a top skilled nurse. Is that you?
Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours: Part-time, 20 hours weekly
Department highlights:
Cath lab department with 6 Suites/Treatment rooms averaging 20 cases per day
We are open 24/7 Monday through Friday and have after hour, holidays, and weekend on-call requirements (with 30 min distance response time).

Here’s What You Need
Education:
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
Experience:
One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
Current Cath Lab/EP Lab experience
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care
The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs and demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive customer-focused attitude toward patients, possess a strong work ethic, always display a high level of professionalism and have basic computer skills using medical management application systems
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required and
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required and
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within ninety (90) days required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
* assesses the patient
* plans the care of the patient
* intervenes as appropriate
* evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
* Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
* Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
* Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
