Registered Nurse (RN II) – Cath Lab IR

Cath Lab IR RN- Full Time / Days

Work location: Texas Health Denton: 3000 N I-35 Denton, TX 76201

Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift; (4) 10 hour shifts a week Monday through Friday with call and holiday call requirements

Department Highlights:

1. Mostly 4 member teams
2. 3 rooms, 5 bay recovery area, EP, Cath and IR procedures

Here’s What You Need

Education

1. Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
2. Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
3. Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
4. Other- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

Experience

1. 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
2. Cath lab experience is strongly preferred
3. TAVR experience is preferred

Licenses and Certifications

1. RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
2. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
3. ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required
