Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab Unit. This full-time day position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with an 18-month commitment and a supportive, community-focused environment.

You will evaluate patients, assist physicians, administer medications, and educate families while maintaining high standards of care in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Cath Lab experience required.
• Associate's degree and RN certification; Texas license required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Familiar with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Texas license to practice professional nursing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department

• Day Shift (8:00am - 5:00pm)
• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus with an 18 Month Commitment
