Job description

Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab – Full Time with on‑call. $10,000 Sign‑on Bonus.

As a registered nurse (RN) with our Cath Lab department, you will work in a multidisciplinary unit focused on cardiovascular and interventional radiology care. Your responsibilities will include preparing for procedures, providing moderate sedation, monitoring patients during the procedure, and conducting pre‑ and post‑procedure monitoring.

About Our Team

Highpoint Health Sumner is a 167‑bed hospital located in Gallatin, TN and is part of Lifepoint Health. The facility holds the Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI accreditation, ensuring rapid treatment for acute heart attacks.

How You'll Contribute

In the Cath Lab you will:

• Prepare patients (IV starts) and support moderate sedation for procedures.
• Monitor patients during cardiovascular interventions and advanced radiology procedures such as port placements, kyphoplasty, tube placements, and ablations.
• Perform pre‑procedure and post‑procedure monitoring.

What We’re Looking For

On‑call duties include nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating schedule. Candidates must be within 30 minutes of the facility during call rotation. (7 days on, 7 days off, 24‑hour call on weekends during rotation.)

Qualifications and requirements:

• Current state RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
