The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and utilize governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.

To perform this job successfully within the scope of nursing, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in their assigned department.

Job Requirements

1. Availability for 4 shifts per time block (preferably one per week or as per unit needs).
2. Availability for 4 call shifts per time block (preferably one weekend or as per unit needs).
3. Participation in the department's holiday schedule.
4. Experience in Cath/EP Lab required.
5. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
6. Valid/Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
7. BLS certification required; Bachelor's Degree preferred; ACLS preferred.
