Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient/ED team at our Rockford campus. You will provide care coordination, assess and support symptoms, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote health and well-being around the clock.

Licensed in Illinois or Michigan with current BLS; BSN preferred and RN experience in healthcare settings. Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.
• Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft applications basic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides 24/7 inpatient and ED nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Assesses and supports physical symptoms and provides psychological support to patients and families.
• Collaborates with providers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across the continuum.

Pay range for this position is $39.34 - $52.16/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Education: BSN

Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
