Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiology Short Stay Unit (CSSU) at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. The CSSU is a 14-bed unit providing scheduled and emergency cardiac care 24/7.

Requirements include 1 year of inpatient medical/surgical experience, BLS & ACLS, and a BSN or ability to obtain within 3 years; Delaware RN licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting is required.
• Strongly prefer cardiac and/or step-down experience.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• BSN required or willing and able to obtain within 3 years from the date of hire
• Delaware RN Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology Short StayFull Time - 12-Hour ShiftsHours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMWeekends & Holidays as required by the department. Newark, DE

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiology Short Stay Unit (CSSU) at our Christiana Hospital. CSSU is a 14 bed mixed cardiac specific inpatient and observation intermediate cardiac care area, which provides scheduled and emergency care/procedures on a 24 hour basis. The area is designed to accommodate 14 patients who need emergency cardiac care and testing.

Requirements:

• At least one year of medical/surgical experience in an inpatient setting is required.
• Strongly prefer cardiac and/or step-down experience.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• BSN required or willing and able to obtain within 3 years from the date of hire
• Delaware RN Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
