Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiology in Downey. The role provides expert professional nursing care, assesses and plans care, implements and evaluates treatment, and participates in practice management. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus for patient communication.

The position requires ACLS/BLS, continuing education, and prior acute care experience. BSN/MSN preferred; strong leadership and teaching skills are valued.

The Registered Nurse provides expert professional nursing care; assess, plans, implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent or potential health problems. Utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, ethics and concepts' participates in the organization and management of the practitioner's practice. Maintains positive relations with patients, family members, other visitors, and fellow employees.
