Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Inpatient/ED roles in Illinois or Michigan. The position provides 24/7 hospital coverage with care coordination across the care team and support for patients and families.

Qualified candidates hold RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan, BLS certification, and ideally a BSN. The package includes a comprehensive benefits plan, sign-on bonus eligible, and weekend/shift differentials.

Qualifications

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!

$15,000 with a 1 year work commitment (new graduates and external candidates)

Stackable Pay Incentives

• Night Shift Differential: +$4.00/hour
• Weekend Differential: +$3.25/hour

Limited Weekend Requirements

Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter

0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts

4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts

10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts

15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts

Overview

Position Summary:

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred qualifications:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
