We seek an Associate Degree in Nursing with Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license, current BLS, and ACLS within six months. BSN preferred.

Full-Time | 0.9 FTE (72 Hours per Pay Period)
12-hour shifts | Every 3rd weekend | Two holidays per year
3:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN license
Current BLS (CPR) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
ACLS required within six months of hire
Strong commitment to teamwork, learning, and exceptional patient care
Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring in a 44-bed Cardiac Telemetry step-down unit
Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment
Care for patients recovering from heart, vascular, and lung procedures and surgeries
Manage and monitor patients with complex cardiac and pulmonary conditions, including:
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with evidence-based practice and physician orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac unit
Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
