This role represents the minimum experience requirement for nurses with over 12 months of experience. The nurse provides and coordinates independent care within a clinical specialty, actively participating as a team member, and adhering to the institution’s care delivery and professional practice models. The role involves developing personal practice and supporting team goals, with accountability to patients, families, team members, and the nurse manager, aligned with our Service Standards and Nursing Mission, Vision, and Values.

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

Clinical Practice:
  • Demonstrates competency in caring for the specific patient population; practices independently with strong clinical skills; actively advances own practice.
  • Serves as a resource for colleagues.

Qualifications include licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligibility through Compact agreements, more than 12 months of nursing experience, and current AHA BLS certification. The pay range is $37.00-$51.81/hour, with applicable differentials.
