Job summary

MedStar Union Memorial is seeking a part-time night shift Clinical Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit. The 31-bed unit emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to patient and family care, with opportunities to gain telemetry experience and access to MedStar’s nursing education resources.

Qualifications include ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL from an accredited school and an active MD RN license or compact state RN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• Active MD RN license or active compact state RN license and BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA/Red Cross) is required.
• Prior clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs, from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with other nursing team members to deliver interventions as needed.

Within Medstar Union Memorial, you'll find the Med/Surg Telemetry Unit, comprising 31 beds dedicated to caring for patients with diverse illnesses. Our unit emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach to address the comprehensive needs of both patients and their families. Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
