Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Telemetry unit on a part-time basis (7a–7p). The 50-bed unit cares for patients with complex cardiac diagnoses and post-procedure patients.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, a valid RN license in Illinois, BLS (and ACLS within 6 months), and at least 1 year of telemetry or Med/Surg experience.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry

Park Ridge, IL

Part Time 7a-7p

Where You Will Work

This fast paced 50 bed unit specializes in Cardiac Telemetry; caring for patients who have a variety of complex cardiac diagnosis such as COPD, CHF, A Fib. The unit also cares for post open heart surgical patients, and some post cardiac interventional procedures (cardiac cath, pacemakers). The unit also has a designated area for observation patients.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Requires 1 year minimum of Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience to be considered

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
