Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on the Night shift at Delray Medical Center. This role emphasizes safety, care coordination, and adherence to clinical standards within a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold Florida RN licensure with BLS, and ACLS for telemetry units. BSN preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Education and licensure must meet Florida RN requirements; BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN license and BLS certification; ACLS and EKG interpretation for telemetry units.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and communicates information effectively.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures at all times.
• Assists patients, families, physicians, visitors, and staff professionally.

Up to $10,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient’s experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Responsibilities

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.
• Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
• Assists all patient s, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
• Adheres to the following environmental care standards.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE:

• None

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
