Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor and medical staff, is responsible for cardiac and fitness evaluations, ensuring efficient patient care, and supporting medical care under physician direction. Acts as part of the interdisciplinary team to help patients and families achieve optimal functioning, collaborating with the Clinical Coordinator and Exercise Physiologist in accordance with professional guidelines and ethics.

What you will do in this role:

• Define the scope of service in collaboration with medical staff and hospital administration.
• Participate in departmental marketing and hospital planning activities.
• Support the hospital's philosophy through interdisciplinary cooperation.
• Recommend equipment modifications for optimal patient care and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or baccalaureate).
• BSN preferred.
• One year of acute inpatient rehab RN experience required.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact (must obtain Texas license within 90 days if applicable).
• American Red Cross or AHA BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
