Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cath Lab RN provides total patient care before, during, and after procedures, including physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and intervene appropriately in all interactions.
• Document thoroughly and timely using computer charting.
• Prioritize and organize care for multiple patients.
• Proficient in triage and assessment, including medication response.
• Provide patient education and counseling, assess barriers to learning.
• Collect specimens and perform POC testing per policies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instruments, perform quality control.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• NH RN license or applicable Compact license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• 2+ years RN experience in Cath Lab preferred.
