Join to apply for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab role at Capital Markets Placement.

Description:

The cardiac catheterization / EP lab is a busy environment providing procedures such as cardiac catheterization with stents, shockwave, CSI, Rota bladder, Laser, Impella, balloon pump, TEE, ablations, and Cardioversions. Same-day discharge procedures are available, with patients recovering for 4 hours and discharged if criteria are met. The schedule is published monthly. Staff work four 10-hour shifts with on-call duties, including weekends and holidays. On-call is 2-3 days per week and every third weekend, with variations for vacations. Conemaugh Hospital holds chest pain accreditation and offers 24/7 STEMI call. EP staff work five 8-hour shifts with no on-call, weekends, or holidays. Preference is given to candidates with 2+ years’ experience in ER, ICU, or PCU/telemetry.

• Critical Care Course or completion within 6 months
• CPR and ACLS certifications or obtained within 6 months
• One year of nursing experience
• Arrhythmia and critical care courses or obtained within one year
• One year nursing experience in cath lab preferred
• RCIS Certification preferred
