Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Unit 30. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, high-quality care in line with established standards.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and collaboration with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient experience.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Unit 30

Downers Grove, IL

Where You Will Work:

A 32- bed Cardiac Unit specialized in patients with complex heart conditions including acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, arrhythmias, post–cardiac cath and procedural care, and post–cardiac surgery recovery. Our nurses provide continuous cardiac monitoring with patient ratios of 4–5, collaborating closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care. The team culture issupportive with a shared commitment for optimal cardiac nursing care while also providing a truly extraordinary patient experience.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
