Advocate Health is seeking a skilled RN for the Behavioral Health unit in Charlotte, 18-bed inpatient adult unit. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care, coordinating patient plans, and ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes.

You will work 36 hours per week on days (7am-7pm) in a full-time capacity, with competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth. Experience in behavioral health and a valid RN license are required.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Behavioral Health Experience, de-escalation skills preferred.

Behavioral Health – Charlotte, Unit 1 South is an 18‑bed inpatient adult unit providing acute behavioral health services.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Behavioral Health Experience, skilled at de-escalation; medical experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center, is the only dedicated psychiatric emergency department in the region, and provides treatment across a broad continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Located in Grier Heights/Randolph Rd., within central Charlotte, NC
