Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Cushing, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time Behavioral Health Unit Registered Nurse (RN). The RN delivers nursing care within the behavioral health unit, following hospital policies and the nursing process to ensure patient safety and quality care.

The role requires RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. You will work with a licensed team to respond to crises, coordinate care, and support patients across the continuum of behavioral health

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate interventions.
• Organize care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating, and communicating with Providers/Leaders.

We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing a mental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged.
• The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:
