Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, full-time Behavioral Health Unit Registered Nurse (RN) in Cushing, OK. You will provide compassionate nursing care in a dynamic inpatient setting.

The RN will utilize nursing processes, respond to life-threatening situations, and coordinate care with providers and leaders. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN Licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• The RN responds to life threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions.
• The RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary Providers/Leaders on an ongoing basis.

We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing amental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged.
