Job summary

Woodland Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an RN to support clinical excellence, operational duties, and compassionate patient care on a 3x12 night schedule in Conroe, TX.

The role emphasizes leadership, timely assessments, and adherence to hospital policies to ensure high-quality nursing care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• License: Current RN license as required by state regulations.
• Certifications: CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and plan care within set timeframes and document findings according to policies.
• Oversee and supervise the shift.
• Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc.
• Oversee staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all members of the team.
• Monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly up to and including notification of the physician.
• RN will follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• RN will consistently use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients.
• Delivery of quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies.
• Assists/performs comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients

How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse RN who excels in this role is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.
• License: Current RN license as required by state regulations.
• Certifications: CPR and de‑escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Schedule: 3x12, nights (7p-7a)

Woodland Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Conroe, Texas. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring, compassionate treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
